Student Life at Ascend Academy Charter High School
We know the results of a student’s success is not solely dependent on an academic education.
Success is also dependent on the quality of their experience in day-to-day life, the resources, the support outside of the classroom, and the exploration of interests and lifelong skills
Our small, safe, supportive community and welcoming culture creates a culture that welcomes inclusive, creative expression. Students feel supported on their high school journey not only by the faculty and staff, but also by their peers.

Absences may be excused for the following:
Students receive a free laptop for us throughout the school year.
Students can schedule no-cost tutoring so that challenges are met and their weaknesses are strengthened.
Students are also empowered to stay on track academically with the help of caring teachers and staff while also having the freedom to learn at their own pace to meet their learning needs.
All students who live more than two miles from school are eligible to receive a FREE Broward County Youth Pass each month throughout the school year. Bus passes can be used at any time, day or night, and on weekends.
